DT. EZGİ AYDIN · DENTIST

A more direct way to plan dental treatment abroad

Dt. Ezgi Aydın sees patients at her dental practice in Balçova, İzmir. Before choosing treatment abroad, clarify who will assess your records, who is responsible for the clinical plan and what still needs to be checked in person. The practice and patient-journey pages explain the setting and the stages to discuss before travel.

One clear clinical point of contact

Administrative support can help with appointments and travel questions. Dental decisions remain dental decisions. The person discussing why a tooth may need a crown, why an implant may need further imaging or why a veneer may be too invasive should be the dentist responsible for that assessment.

Before travel, ask how clinical questions will reach the dentist and how appointment or transport questions will be handled.

Preliminary guidance without pretending the diagnosis is complete

Photographs and X-rays can be useful before travel. They may reveal missing teeth, old restorations, obvious bone loss or areas that need closer assessment. They cannot reliably replace examination of the gums, tooth mobility, tenderness, bite, cracks or every three-dimensional anatomical detail.

A preliminary plan therefore has a clear status: useful enough to organise the next step, but open to revision if the examination changes the evidence.

Conservative options stay in the conversation

Aesthetic concerns do not automatically require ceramic restorations. Depending on the starting point, whitening, bonding, repair, orthodontic movement, replacement of an old restoration or no treatment at all may be more conservative than preparing healthy teeth.

Likewise, implants are not automatically better than bridges, and full-arch treatment is not automatically appropriate because several teeth are compromised. The decision should be proportional to the actual problem.

The real practice is visible before you travel

The international site uses real photographs and videos of the practice, treatment environment and Dt. Ezgi Aydın. You should be able to see where you are going rather than relying on generic interiors or renderings.

The stages are explained before the dates are sold

Treatment duration depends on biology and laboratory stages. A ceramic case, an implant case and a bone-grafting case do not share a universal one-week timetable.

The journey pages therefore focus on what is decided at each stage, what still needs to be confirmed and which treatments may require healing or a second trip.

Aftercare is part of the plan

Patients eventually go home. That means implant records, restorative details, follow-up instructions and the role of a local dentist should be considered before the end of treatment, not after a problem appears.

Who may prefer this model?

This approach may suit patients who value direct communication with the dentist, want the limits of remote planning stated clearly and prefer a smaller practice environment over an all-inclusive tourism package.

If you also need help with accommodation or transport, ask what can be arranged and which services you will need to book yourself.
